The 1978 kidnapping and murder of Aldo Moro, 55th and 61st Prime Minister of Italy, and president of the most important political party in Italy at the time, Democrazia Cristiana, as seen from the perspective of one of his assailants -- a conflicted young woman in the ranks of the Red Brigade.

Discussion: led by Prof. Gaetana Marrone-Puglia from the French and Italian Department.

Gaetana Marrone-Puglia specializes in modern Italian literature and postwar Italian cinema. Her principal publications include articles in the 19th- and 20th- century literature, film, and cultural studies. She joined the Princeton faculty in 1985. She is currently a Professor of French and Italian, and also serves as Associate Chair of Italian and on the Film Studies Committee, Program in the study of Women and Gender, and Program in Italian Studies.
